It was indeed a good line. On reflection probably not the most opportune moment to make my point!

They say reflection is a sign of maturity.....or is that just a myth put out by mirror sellers?

You and Stirling know what I'm about, fair play.

Wasnt talking about tourettes you idiot. It was Autism, but you only seem to take notice of what suits your agenda.
Your posts and attitude to mental illness scream of someone unaffected by it or unwilling to face up to it.
Bit of advice, put on your big boy shoes and do a bit of research or one to one with people blighted by these,"made up" ilnesses.
Maybe next time i have the misfortune to be in your neck of the woods we can chat about it.?

He correctly said the conditions were real but over diagnosed.....I know what he means but there are certainly bigger problems in the world.

I think autism is in most family lines, especially within males on sliding scales. It's an umbrella term covering many conditions. Most aren't positive for the person affected nor for those dealing with it, though certain types of autism can create hyper focused people who go on to improve the world.

Chris has really wagged your tail but that last post was a joke.

Wagged my tail Stirling? As a family we have had to put up with far mare than that idiot has to say. Said it before on here but i dont have any time for bullies. Cant make up my mind if he is a bully or just ignorant. Possibly both. Who knows until they stand in front of him.
He cant differentiate between autism and tourettes and suggested that people with dyslexia were just thick.
Not clever really is it when you dig beneath his laddish bonhomie, which you seem to have fallen for.

I've no problem with 'laddish bonhomie' which seems like a good description.....though obviously it's not always tactful.

To be serious, I've seen how hard proper autism can be for families, when it's not mild it can be difficult, and it's lifetime difficult. So you have my recognition.

Thank you Stirling.
If this was about race or maybe physical disability he would be long gone from this forum.
Just goes to show how far we still have to go in regards to mental health recognition.
As i said in an earlier post, that was belittled by ccg, we do find humour in it.
Front line ambulance work over 3 decades in London. You either laugh or cry. Never cried once. (Might be the autism).

Yep, there's a lot of it about.....You should've seen my extended family.....then again, that headache wouldn't be doing you any favours.

Grandad use to drive along the road spending half his time with one arm outstretched giving the middle finger. Bless the old curmudgeon.....he'd drive people up the wall.

Bit offended by this.

I got diagnosed with autism as a child, apparently I've got an IQ of 160, but lack the ability to empathise (or something, I wasn't listening). My Dad took me to the casino after watching Rain man, but I've got the "it's ok to call people idiots and thinly veil threats because I'm different" kind rather than the useful one and we lost a fortune.

True story.

Beep beep beep. Is that reversing i hear?
You have gone from saying they were made up conditions to claiming a diagnosis of autism relating to a film role.
You were unable to differenciate between autism and tourettes a few posts ago therefore the 160 iq is a stretch.
Any further comments on dyslexics just being thick?

If that last post went over your head you're clearly dyslexic as well...

Ignorance is bliss so the saying goes.
You must smile a lot.
