Irrelevant. Different local authority. Croydon Council have told us we have to do it. So we have to do it. Its not irrellevant at all. Spurs are within a London Borough, so are we. Spurs have almost doubled the size of their stadium, we want a new stand, Spurs have done nothing to improve congestion/traffic in the area on match days, we are being told we have to, Spurs have poor public transport links to their ground, we are served within easy walking distance of 3 train stations, have a bus service that stops right outside the ground (from both Croydon and from Crystal Palace) and have a decent amount of parking in the area (and thats not taking Sainsbury car park into account!). Of course its not irrelevant. Any good lawyer would hold up this comparison in court as unfair treatment from Croydon Council, forcing us to jump through hoops and pay for improved infrastructure that does not require improvement.

You are laughable and if I was 'said Mayor' and saw what you'd written I'd be looking to find out who you are and serve some legal papers upon you. We all know it goes on, What YOU do not know is what you claim above. OK, here we go. Here’s how I know what I know. I’m a freelance writer based in New York and a native New Yorker. I have reported on the continuing Department of Investigation probe into deBlasio’s fund raising and pay to play shenanigans. It has been also widely reported in the New York & national media. The approach to Mr. Parish has been extensively sourced by several reporters, including Spectrum NY1 & the New York Times. So, bring on your law suit. Under the New York Times v Sullivan decision (SUPRA 1964) you won’t get in the front door of the court house.

So you want to delay the process and alienate Croydon council for the sake of a few million when it is in the best interests of the club to get things moving as quickly as possible and maintain a good relationship for future developments?

Selhurst is awful ground to get to and you can claim about these train stations about but it doesn't mean they are good routes also they may look close of map but when it comes to match day they are really bad. Spurs transport is not worse then ours they have multi options trains, buses etc is it really good no but it's 40min+ shorter journey which is a lot of time. We have good parking thats it im not commenting anymore you are in dream world.

I've never not got on the first train leaving the match (and no I do not leave early)! At Spurs it took me until 10:50 to get onto the platform at Seven Sisters. I queued for an hour to get into SS.

Launching a legal process against a Council you are trying to get an agreement with, seems a suicide mission. Any proposed development is taken on its own merits. You can make reference to similar developments, but each will have its own unique aspects. All Councils have their own Local Plan, giving specifics of what would be envisaged over the next 10 years. This is influenced, in part, by Government policy. And in the case of certain developments in London Boroughs, needs to be reviewed by The Mayor's office. The club owners decided to develop Selhurst, in order to swerve protracted legal disputes over other locations. It would be madness to go legal now.

We have good parking thats it im not commenting anymore you are in dream world. These grounds? I only mentioned one. And have I been to the new Spurs stadium? No. Have I been to White Hart Lane? three times in my lifetime to see Palace win once (in the 90s) and lose twice. But I fail to see what your point is except if it is to attempt to see me as an arm chair fan. Doesn't really matter if I am or not anyway, my point is still valid.
