I'd go if i were Wilf. He's done the best he can for us and deserves a shot at the big time.
We all know that recent transfer prices are ridiculously inflated and given some of the deals done then anything over £50mil after the sell-on clause (25%?) is a good deal imo.

Pulisic cost 57 million quid.

Transfers have gone nuts last few seasons.

With the sell on clause it has to be minimum 70 million.

Given that we could go down without him, perhaps he is worth 150 mil to Palace though?

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I think if he does go it will be back to Man U, They will be spending and there is the Solskjaer link, trouble is he's got about 6 games left if it goes tits up at the start of next season

Irrelevant tbh bud as he's given us everything and we've given little in return.
He's just too good for us..........so to speak.
If we were to go down due to losing 1 player then that says everything you need to know about us as a club.

No I'm not. The "reliable source" (Fifield) has written a piece outlining the situation with Wilf, the facts of which the admins I mentioned knew before it was published. They have good, reliable sources in the media and, as I said, are right about this kind of stuff much more often than not.

There are only two possible reliable sourcs for any story about this and any other is just repeating what they have been told by said sources.

Wilf and his agent will only say he wants to leave for two reasons and the last times, it has been for a better contract.

Here we go again.

No, Wilf is not too good for us and we pay him a fortune.

You don't build a good side by selling your best players and if you want Palace to remain forever Mickey Mouse then keep repeating stuff like you just posted.

We are not a selling club.

Here we go again #2.

Wilf could've easily had not signed his latest contract and one day left a continually struggling side.............for nothing.

It isn't his fault that our club is constantly a little bit pony.

I have been critical of our transfer dealings but how 'pony' is six seasons in the PL finishing mid table?

We never had it so good.
Wilf already knows how you suddenly become just another number at a top club if things go badly.

Look at Bolasie. As soon as he put on an Everton shirt he became a nobody.

But we're not progressing as a club.

We are progressing, been in PL for 7 season now that's progress in my book. If Wilf really wants to go I am sure we would all wish him good luck and success. I still deep down think he would only go if the club meet his ambitions CL for example. I really feel Arsenal and the likes are NOT on his radar, may wish a move abroad? Anyway, if he leaves then we have to get our heads up and move on.
