But wait, what happened to the red, white and blue Brexit she promised!

All jokes aside, she's clearly run her course. I feel bad for her to an extent, as it was essentially an uncontested position and a difficult needle to thread. Allowing a remainer in the role of PM when clearly the majority of Tory voters voted leave, was always a strange one.

It seems very likely that Boris will now be steering the ship. As he was a big proponent of Brexit all along, we can at least now see how he approaches negotiations, if indeed there are any to be had!

I just hope the Tory Party elect someone who wants to leave the EU otherwise nothing will have changed.

Amazed that anyone would want the job, whatever they do it will be wrong.

That's a good point, but it's a pivotal point in our history. There are so many unknowns, but whoever eventually steers us through this period will either end up being reviled or will be a hero of our time. I guess that's a gamble some are willing to make. Current favourite is understandably Johnson, following by Dominic Raab. Logically it would be bizarre to vote a reaminer in, all things considered, so I can't see that happening.

May managed to piss everyone off. Her successor has a chance to only piss-off half of that amount.

Hoping and praying for Esther McVey to become new PM for obvious reasons.

If Johnson gets to be PM I wonder how all those 'picanninies' with 'watermelon smiles' will feel?

I hadn't looked at it like that haha. A half way hero is better than everyone thinking you're a waste of space.

i thought May's resignation speech was very Keegan'esque. Really very embarrassing to watch.

Cameron chips in with "I feel sorry for Theresa"
No mate, you should feel sorry for the whole of the UK, who you put in this 5hlt position,... then you fvcked off.
