At least two, and likely three ahead of him in the pecking order. Plus, Sarri nearly always one up front (in fact, always as far as I have seen). That's if Sarri is still there - which is perhaps 50/50 at best.

All our transfer plans this summer depend on what we're doing with Wilf and, if he's going, whether we'll aim for a like-for-like replacement or a totally different approach.

No wonder he hasn't got a club yet, reportedly asking for 100k a week plus 5m signing on. Forget him then.

That really isn’t bad (if he stayed fit - big if). If he signed a 3 year contract it equates to an £11m signing on £60k per week.

As a free agent, he presumably may still be available after the transfer window closes and could reduce his demands. Not sure if he is what we need though. even playing for United and Arsenal, he has never managed 10 league goals in a season
I assume Sturridge is in the same boat

we paid 2.5m and decent wages for jordan ayew ffs...we could have spent a little note in welbeck, who is considerable better.
