This comment displays the racist nature of the Brexit party that they have been trying to hide.

The reason Labour won is because they were talking about the issues that affect working people, not some fantasy re-creation of the past where Britain ruled the waves (and dusky foreigners).

Labour were voted in in 1997 and EU immigration in particular rocketed from 2004, not in Elizabeth I’s reign.

You'll be delighted to know that the word 'bollocks' passes unmolested through the profanity filter.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

It was good enough for the Liberal Party.

Perhaps I was more eloquent but you were more accurate.

Judge who referred this should be sacked. It was never going anywhere, otherwise, as stated previously on here, most of Parliament would be in the dock.
Funniest thing about the contributors is that they were actually paying him a wage, despite being told they were all volunteers

A fool and their money are easily parted as they say.

As long as they could afford it tis no matter and I suspect the lawyers are very grateful.

Peterborough shows that Farage may be the final step towards a Corbyn government.

Hope everyone is ready for Jezza in Number 10 thanks to Nige!

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Corbyn - losing 17% share proves his popularity

Farage - losing is winning

Politics as usual!

That said, with a party that's about two months old, it's probably a record of sorts. I believe it's also the narrowest ever by-election win.

Interesting results in Peterborough, Labour actually increased their majority when everyone expected them to be defeated. The Tories took a bit of a pasting but no where near the pasting that most were predicting and I suspect that they will be quite revealed with the result. The Libs will also be pleased that they did so well in a town where they never poll that well.

Just shows the difference between voting in the Euros and for an MP.

That's a bit of a glowing reading of the results . It does go to show what happens when the vote is split along less predictable lines though certainly.
