It depends what you mean by fair. I would suggest that someone saying that they would 'jump on my head' is drifting someone from a notion of what any decent person would be expecting from a fight.

Of course ChrisGC with his family that he clearly doesn't particularly care about, if he's filled with excitement about all of this apparently wild, head stamping fights he's been in or is egging on, is getting a little carried away and trying to relive his youth. That's his prerogative.

As another poster said, as adults generally speaking people realise that if you keep having fights where you behave like this, it's not going to particularly end well for any of those involved. It's an unsustainable behaviour. Prison, brain damage, death? Oh what fun for the family.

Someone didn't get enough toy soldiers as a kid.

Thinking back I've never jumped on anyone's head, but I absolutely would if opportunity had presented itself. If you're prepared to give someone the chance to get back up and do you, that's your choice.

I'm usually good at avoiding trouble as I don't dish out insults to random strangers, avoid trouble pubs and can handle my beer (not quantity, I mean more the effect on behaviour). The fights I have had I've generally come out on top as I don't bollox about with all this fair fighting nonsense. That said, I have had a hiding or two, but that's life: what did I learn? If you can't get out of it, go down swinging and chucking glasses if you have to, f*** em. And always jump on their heads if you can...

Your logic is to twist everything and read it literally.
Read what I wrote but read it in context.
did you see the scrotes in Croydon attacking adults outside the pub.
f***ing disgraceful.
There will be an excuse for them.
Was that fair on the guys having a quiet drink?
Unprovoked and not fair.
They are 14 years old.
Can you see what the future holds for those kids.
Half will be dead or in clink before 30.
No doubt you will try to defend them.
These are kids who have been told they have a devine right to do what they want with no punishment.
The same as it is open season on TR.
You and yours are the reasons it's so f***ed up.
And I would gladly smash the face in of the Muslim pedos.
Which is back to where I joined this part of the thread.
Life ain't fair so why should fighting be any different.

Back to reality. I very specifically called out hitting a football fan who posed NO physical threat. I then took exception to the idea that he should've also had his head stamped on, saying that this wasn't anything approaching a fair fight. What I said is clearly accurate, reasoned, reasonable and anyone outside of some pack instinct fool would appreciate that.

Saying 'oh some kids are wild and carry knives' so fights aren't fair and you've gotta do what you've gotta do, has absolutely nothing to do with the situation at hand.

So you now isolate the 'situation at hand'
But for the last few post you've generalised.
What exactly are you against in this whole subject?

Grand, in which case you would possibly be in prison, and they may have been brain damaged. You wouldn't have your family either in that case. Not as though they ever seem to factor into how you conduct yourself.

If you bother to read the conversation it doesn't particularly take much effort to follow. The fair fight comment, came from the facts presented, because funnily enough that's what we were talking about.

Dollardays, you're coming across a bit naive. Everything is situational? Well, yes! but we are talking about animal instincts, which is what we are, with the advantage of higher intelligence.

If the bloke wasn't interested in a fight, then he would not have used such provocative words like racist.

I'm not saying it's some kind of unbelievable thing to have occurred. Clearly if you say enough stupid things to people someone will react. My point is that it's an assault caught on camera and that in his position that behaviour will not serve him well. If its that easy to get the guy to react, then the future is not bright. He also massively lets down any cause he proclaims to stand for with this stuff.

There are tonnes of public figures that routinely get it in the neck, and they don't lash out violently at people clearly not anticipating physical conflict. Above and beyond that it was ChrisGCs disturbing head stamping comments about other and to me personally, something he apparently can't get enough of saying to people, that I felt the need to highlight. Though of course the group dynamics on here precludes people from particularly taking exception to low level behaviour from those on 'their side'. Thankfully, such a lazy approach also leads to numerous non-sensible adn baffling arguments because nothing said is ever really scrutinised. So it's swings and roundabouts really.

Yeah, we're people who think peados deserve a kicking.

Whereas you're the sort of person who doesn't think they do and wouldn't administer it....

I know which camp I'd rather be in...

Not sure what your point is.

My point is I’d rather see the police do their job rather than annoint oiks like you two as some kind of ‘men of the people’ vigilantes. Especially when you’re passing this kind of behaviour off under the blanket of the classic ‘I’m a real man’ tropes. Garbage.

Respecting others and Being able to handle yourself when required is not the same as thuggery. Nor does being attacked excuse it. Violence should only ever be used when absolutely necessary. Extreme violence when there are literally no other options left, and it’s do or die. That’s what the law is for. It’s what society is held together by, not a load of Ronnie and Reggie wannabes.

In Robinsons case he over stepped the mark (again, he just can’t help himself) but I can see why he did it. That, however, is very different from wanting to stamp on someone’s head.

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

The point stands. If someone is saying that they wished they'd stamped on someones head, or they wouldn't stamped on this persons head, or they would stamp on my head.. all of which has been said here by the way, I think the take home might not be some sort of weak and feeble diversion tactic about how 'literal' I'm being.

Coming from someone who seems to post poems instead of posts, I'm not sure that there is any lack of understanding coming from my side.

If the law upheld the law and actually investigated what TR told them this thread wouldn't exist.
It wasn't my daughter thankfully.
if it was I would be waiting.
I'm not an oik and I'm not a fighter.
Nor a ronnie or reggie wannabe.
I'm a man who can see the reality of life and what it holds if you walk around in blinkers.

Exactly right on both counts. Though of course what is right and what is decent is not always what's important. Here the comfort of group polarisation rules the day.
