I was thinking black not red. Pots and kettles you know.

At first I read your comment as a request for beetroot by the way.

I wouldn't blame anyone who has something thrown at from for reacting to that. Be it an egg or a milkshake, it's not always entirely possible to know what the liquid is, for all I'd know if it happened to me it could be acid so acting to get that person out of your vicinity makes sense.

Coming from behind when someone has little or no indication of your intention towards them, punching them, then reading the toy soldier fantasies on here about how the guys head should've been stamped on however is a different kettle of fish.

Well, it would be interesting to see how a random selection of HOLers would react if faced with prolonged abuse whilst with their families.
I hate violence myself but everyone has their limits.

I think that agreeing with some of his public statements and him being your best buddy are two entirely different things.
I agreed with some things that Tony Benn said. Does that make me a Lefty?

I know the battle is won when you try and do a public appeal like this to the mods.

Imagine being so obsessed with a stranger on the internet that you look up crime statistics for where they live and then compare it to another random place where the populations don't even match.
Lovely place Wantage. Birthplace of Alfred the Great.

There is no battle. You aren’t especially interesting. I made no appeal, direct or indirect, to the Mods. Now I understand your attention seeking you don’t exercise me in any way.

I do like facts. It was tinternet that told me Sevenoaks was a comparator with Wantage. Blame the Police, easy target. I had no expectation you were originally from Wantage due to your potty mouth.

Now, do you want beetroot or did I misunderstand? Perhaps it was red cabbage.

Ha ha, there he is.

As ever it's you that engages with me in the first place and as ever it's you that ends up throwing out insults. Bit of a nerve talking about yellow cards, I'd keep your head down sweet cabbage; it's not me breaking the rules at the end of the day.

Given your never ending cycle of: challenge my posts, get schooled, plead for me to be carded, insult me, repeat I find your mention of pot and kettle before accusing me of attention seeking highly ironic.

Not as many as you're trips to Serbia or Botswana

Could Tommy Robinson be about to take down the BBC?

So it is over 100 days and the answer to the question
"Could Tommy Robinson (AKA Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) be about to take down the BBC?" is definitely looking more like:
> No.
> No chance.
> Unlikely
> What a lot of old bull
> Never going to happen.
> He made it all up as he always does
> The guy is a probably just pound shop Nazi who just has a dream about it and thought it was worth sharing and some misguided keyboard warrior actually believed it and lobbed it into the the public domain

Maybe Mr Yexley-Lennon is just full of hot air. That is most likely a stronger bet.

And how many unmolested girls are grateful for that hot air? I’m no fan of Robinson’s but credit where credit’s due.

He certainly did go in on an area that, at the time, no politician would touch with a barge pole. Taken in isolation that's without doubt a positive. That doesn't excuse the other stuff by any means and he clearly often doesn't help himself, but it did shine a light where one was desperately needed.

Politicians are all about optics, the latest poll, the sound bite, but it has to be said that there are certain things that people outside of political confines, whether known or unknown, can do that politicians either can't or won't. Not as though it's like for like, but whether it's Joanna Lumley saying 'enough is enough' over the Gurkha issue, or even 'that bigoted woman' who had Gordon Brown around her house with his tail between his legs, there are times when it takes a non politician to change the conversation and move the needle.

Is his real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon? Nobody ever said.

Interesting how the police view the political left to the right.
