Well no, if his contract was say £60k and we paid a signing on fee of £6m on a 3 year contract it would make it on average £100k a week if you split that fee across his contract. A player of his ilk would have cost more than double the signing on fee.

I think the lad's underrated, but I've been following him on Instagram for a while and he's never posted any pictures of himself kicking a ball. They're all of him posing in a lambo, f***ing about in London or by a pool somewhere, or weirdly with some massive fat black geezer who I assume is a German rapper. Perhaps he's not as dedicated as he should be: it would explain the lack of game time.

He has been f***ed over by Hodgson. Took way to long to get a look in, then dribs and drabs, wrong positions and style and then he subs him at half time (hugh dis) which he never does. If Roy can be believed then Max Meyer will finally be unleashed next season.

The lads quality and just needs some time to adjust. He's the only proper baller in the middle of the park so it's madness to write him off.
