There is a difference between having it as a priority and stating that all he wants is survival.

Palace are in that group of clubs for whom it is a race for 36-38 points and anything else is a bonus.

Your first sentence seems to deny that survival isn't Parish's priority yet your second sentence seems to contradict the first

Of course it’s a priority to stay in the Premier, it is for all bar top 8 clubs. What do you expect him to say, we all know relegation means a loss of £100m +, then a total restructuring of the club.

The club can slowly grow whilst in the Premier and possibly attract further investment, relegation would stop that dead.

Not at all.

It was you that said all he wants is survival. You then quoted him as saying that staying in the Premier League is a priority.

I think it's reasonable to have that as a priority but I don't think it's all that he wants.

So that race to the points I mentioned is the priority but the ambition is a top ten finish.

You (and others) are taking my comment out of context. The question was "would Rafa come to Palace" and my response was along the lines of him having greater ambition than Palace

If Rafa goes to China then I think his main ambition is to line his pockets. Fair enough, it's a lot of money on offer.

We have neither.

Didn’t copy anyone’s post.. saw your double standards and jumped right on it of my own accord.
Maybe you should actually meet the man and have a chat with him and you would find that he has many more ambitions for the club than just retaining premiership survival.

If you mean he talks a good game, then you're not wrong; his problem is that so little of the words get translated into actions, particularly in relation to the crumbling infrastructure.

Was just pointing out MIdland Eagles hypocrisy and double standards when it comes to people making statements instead of clearly stating that it’s an opinion. Then he wanted to jibe about doing research on what SP has said, when he could have just taken it as it was intended...

If you want to bang on about SP I’m sure there’s a thread or two for that where you can air your dislikes..

You stated selling your best players is the wrong approach. My reply pointed out that top clubs also sell their best players.
I don’t remember you saying they have funds to replace players and we don’t. Which patently wrong, as we now have £50m to improve the squad.
