If you want to bang on about SP I’m sure there’s a thread or two for that where you can air your dislikes..

I'm not "banging on" about anything; I was answering, politely, a point that you made about Parish. This is a discussion forum where we expect others to be treated with respect; please would you bear that in mind.

Not at all.

It was you that said all he wants is survival. You then quoted him as saying that staying in the Premier League is a priority.

I think it's reasonable to have that as a priority but I don't think it's all that he wants.

So that race to the points I mentioned is the priority but the ambition is a top ten finish.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I'd love this to happen. Thank Roy but move him upstairs. Get Rafa in!

You stated selling your best players is the wrong approach. My reply pointed out that top clubs also sell their best players.
I don’t remember you saying they have funds to replace players and we don’t. Which patently wrong, as we now have £50m to improve the squad.

Then you obviously haven't read many of my posts on this.

We had the likes of Wan Bissaka and Zaha because they were academy players.

We could never sign them under normal circumstances and that is why selling them is a disaster for the quality of the team.

I’d love to be wrong but I don’t see us spending AWB transfer fee on improving the squad. We may spend a bit but think the majority of it will go on balancing the books from overspend in previous windows. We also haven’t really reduced the wage bill as AWB was one of the lowest earners.
Selling Wilf would give us funds and significantly reduce the wage bill but it would in my opinion leave us in great danger of relegation and leave us with no one on the pitch that we could really relate to as Palace.

I have read your posts, you seem to be in denial of the financial situation we are in.

I seem to recall we did sign Zaha from Utd. Selling a one footed right back isn't going to disrupt the team significantly, as he offered very little going forward, but defensively he was excellent.

Isn't AWB rated statistically as the best right back in Europe? Just saying.
