Jeremy Hunt has called some Brexit voters little Englanders (multiple sources).

I think the mask slipped, Hunt is a Remainer who like TM says he will deliver Brexit. Problem is he is trying to win the votes of Tory members, once bitten...

I think he was always going to lose but this certainly won't win him any votes.

"Tory" members is a bit of a misnomer. This is now the Brexit party. Therefore if he wants to be leader of it, which he clearly does, he has to play to the gallery. Hunt is a Tory though so when he says traditional Conservative things this doesn't go down well with the voters who aren't Conservatives any more.

Yep, I reckon Hunt is only continuing because he hasn't been promised a cabinet job.....and personally I hope Johnson doesn't employ him because while he has a good brain, I can't stand the slimy corporate internationalist.....that's a company man if ever you saw one.

I think they want to avoid a coronation after last time.

Well you can get 11/2 on Hunt if you fancy a flutter.

Not me.

Johnson is an excellent orator but Hunt actually says more

It's boiled down to a buffoon and a remainer.

Gotta go with BoJo simply because he meets the only qualifying requirement for the job in hand: he voted to leave. I've got no idea how Hunt is even a consideration given he voted remain.

BoJo will get it done through sheer bumbling Eatonian detachment. No deal will happen as he won't even read any document to the contrary and just bluff through it leaving the bureaucracts to tidy up the loose ends.

Great stuff, just the man for the job.
