Seagulls don't exist

To my delight, I found out at the weekend that there is no such thing as a seagull. Apparently they're all gulls, but are of the common, herring, black-backed variety but there is no gull known as "sea". Even collectively. Which means the infestation at the Andrex is yet another example of their delusion, pretence and profound inferiority complex. They may as well rename themselves the sky rats.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

These darned birds in my 'neck of the woods' which people refer to as "Seagulls" are a heck of a nuisance. They use vehicles as toilets and when their young are born they dive-bomb those who they believe will be a threat to their offspring which are often high up on roofs of houses.They are a bloody pest.

I used to live in Torquay and they were a real pest thinking nothing of snatch food or ice cream from the hands of toddlers. We get them up here in West Midlands too although we are as far from the sea as one can get but they are the smaller gulls and not those awful Herring Gulls

was at a pub in salcombe the other day. seagull swept onto the table next to us...my money would have been on him taking the leftover fish or bread... he ate the tartar sauce and left with a butter portion. mad b******

I had sausage and chips once. I threw a seagull a chip thinking I was being nice and it kind of launched towards me and the whole lot went flying. Sneaky b******s. But as I say, they'll eat anything. Apparently gulls don't have the ability to fart, so if you feed them an Alka-Seltzer squashed into a piece of bread, they explode. Edited by martin2412 (10 Jul 2019 8.55pm)
