It's too fecking hot.

Walked out into the garden a couple of hours ago and it's like a frigging oven out there....lasted two minutes....that's enough summer for me.....Fans on....wet flannel.

Looks like that tomorrow will be the last really hot day for a while and then things cool down a bit thank god. The humidity is the killer which seems to be exclusive to the UK. Even in India the humidity wasn't as bad as it is here and I would have thought being an island we would get less of it then anywhere else but I am sure there is a reason for it.

TBF it feels like a normal Floridian day..what makes it awful is being at work and not in a pool!

Also, this wont be the end of it...we'll have a couple more hot spells in the net 6 weeks according to long term forecasts.

Not hot in west Cornwall, not seen the sun today. A chilly 20 C and rain in the air

Have there been the obligatory hose-pipe bans and drought warnings yet?

The only good thing about this weather is that it exposures my six pack.....of Foster's that's I've had to get out of the cupboard just for the 'hottest day' occasion.

Not good hangover weather though in my experience.

It hit 101 degrees where I am.

Did a bit of sunbathing this morning and then retreated indoors with a fan blasting on me all afternoon.

Yeah, then again Foster's is the cream soda of lagers.....I'm just a bit merry.

As Brits it’s customary to do the worst thing in hot weather and drink alcohol. I’ve been doing it every evening this week.
