Burnley really messed this up for us. Looks like this will inflate the price or result in a money up front rather than loan, or worst case Burnley win out. Whatever looks like it will mess with our transfer plans.

Much speculation but Burnley making a late effort to sign him under our noses!!

Not surprising as they also haven't been that active in the market. Reminds me of a couple of drunks scrapping at the last of the booze at the party.

Just make sure we have a team ready to bundle him into a taxi when he lands to avoid Burnley doing a West Brom on us.

Burnley will have the Tarkowski money to play with soon so would be able to offer Betis a permanent deal

If we miss out on this one,. It can only be because, we are so long winded in putting any deal together.
If there is no back up , being processed , it’s another brick wall we have walked into through being ultra careful. Care becomes careless it seems.
Let’s hope it’s just more speculation based on the fact it is taking so long. But you can’t blame others from sniffing about.

Quite ineffective duo of Parish and Freedman wanting Premiership football on the cheap, may have yet have cost us a valuable addition to our wafer thin squad.
So many out,yet so few players in,to date with 3 days remaining.

Quite predictable,but quite hopeless.

Assuming we can promise equal wages and playing time, all we can hope for is the player's desire to live in London. However, given he lived in Cardiff for a year, unfortunately for us he doesn't seem to be one of the Latin players unwilling to live outside London (or Manchester/Liverpool at a stretch). In terms of the footballing perspective, sadly what Burnley have to offer is better. If, for any reason, West Ham come in, we don't stand one chance.

So, supposedly DF does loads of footwork only for Burnley to come sniffing & throw a spanner in, expecting excuses & other flannel come Thursday evening when we end up with nowt.
