Gone to Bournemoth for 2.5 million on loan. No option to buy as Liverpool clearly see a future for him there. I told you guys he should have been signed since last summer. He had already been inpressive in the Championship. Derby success just came normally, he'll be good in the PL too.

Those two points don’t make any sense next to each other - if Liverpool clearly see a future for him, how could he have been signed? My own opinion is that he won’t make it at Liverpool - I think he’ll settle at a club like Bournemouth in the long term. Outstanding end product player, but lacks the physical attributes to be a top level winger. Would take him at Palace certainly though.

He wasn't this accomplished last year (had a great season with Derby and became a national tram starter at 21). Wasn't that well seen at Liverpool, they would have sold 12 months ago. He was behind Ben Woodburn in the order of "great hopes" at that time. I just had certainty about him, I knew he was going to make it. From the movement on and off the ball, the way he ran, the way he shot.

Don’t know that he’s ‘made it’ yet - he’s got a good championship season under his belt.
