He's trash

Danny Simpson is not the best choice either. Solid defensively though, but weak going forward, only short term solution.

Walker-Peters is a decent player at his age, but with how much Tottenham would charge (around 15 million).....I'd stay very much away!!

I think they are considering a loan deal

He is 7 months older than Wan-Bisska who we recently sold for three times that!

You'd still have to pay that next year. Which is bad business.

The fact that we sold AWB for 50 million after raising him for less than 100k all these years is an example of good business.

Taking a right back for 15 million to sell him for 20-25 in 5 years after he'll just have matured is not.

Not if there is no option to buy, which I doubt there will be. If there is and he proves as good as AWB it will be good business

If there is noo option to buy, it's worse, as he just disrupts the squad and teammates

Can't agree in this scenario. Joel Ward has been an outstanding servant and very important in past seasons. He has his legacy as cult hero set in stone and probably knows himself he shouldn't be first choice but will continue to be decent backup on a Premier salary (he'd have to drop divisions and wages to get 1st team).

He is the only player disrupted by this. No one else is banging down the door to be our right back. It isn't ideal that we haven't replaced AWB properly but given less than a day to go, just getting it sorted for the upcoming season is now priority.

Kyle Walker-Peters gives us a year to identify the permanent right-back...I mean we won't, will not even look elsewhere thinking the season will never end and be genuinely surprised by his loan ending but at least it gives us the opportunity.
