Apparently he’s on standby for if Wilf leaves. This is ridiculous, ffs. We need a centre forward regardless of what happens with Wilf. We have Benteke & Ayew. That’s it. So utterly naive to think you can just keep doing this on the cheap year after year and get away with it. Our squad has stood relatively still for years.
