I've said many times I'm not one for conspiracy theories.

That said, the Notre Dame fire occurred on the 15th April 2019....Still we are told that on the 16th April...the very next day that the 'Paris prosecutor' said there was no evidence of a deliberate act.

This is even before an investigation had begun, how is anyone going to be sure about that? Was this statement made for political reasons? ...I mean there isn't evidence of anything until you find some.

The structure wasn't even considered safe enough for entry of investigators until the 25th of April. How could the 'Paris prosecutor' be so sure to rule conclusions out even before any serious investigation had been undertaken?

Was there CCTV footage that categorically had ruled out any human involvement? How could they be so sure so quickly?

Even when they started the investigation on the 25th they were unofficially stating that they were considering other theories seemingly having ruled out foul play.

Odd.

It is nearly four months on.....Still no official cause.

As a sidenote as of 22 April 2019, donations of over €1 billion had been pledged for the cathedral's reconstruction.

As of 14 June only €80 million had been collected.

Says a lot about virtue signalling and modern society right there.

I watched The Royal Academy burn from my office opposite

I could see it was started by a roofer’s pitch heater

Maybe similar logic applies.

I guess it's similar to the 9/11 Pentagon, the most secure building on the planet but not one camera in the facinity captures the plane.

There must have been cameras to find evidence one way or another with the cathedral, it's not like a little local parish church

Well, I think one Pentagon camera did personally.

Perhaps, perhaps not.

The problem with fires is they tend to destroy things. Even cameras. Security cameras tend to be very area specific, rather than present general views, so it would depend where the monitors and storage devices were located.

I lost goods in the White Horse Lane storage warehouse fire. There was no surviving video evidence of how that started. It was over a year later before the fire investigation, in combination with the Police, the many insurance companies involved and the solicitors representing many parties, announced that whilst they could identify where the fire started the cause was unknown.

This might seem unimportant, but it meant that no one was held liable and that, in turn, meant the site owners insurers disclaimed any responsibility. This passed the responsibility back to the owners of the goods who were expected to have taken out suitable insurance on them themselves, which most had not, believing that the site took over responsibility when they took possession.

So it can take a very long time before these things get determined because there are conflicting interests to be dealt with.

Isn’t the thread a conspiracy theory then?

Wouldn't that require a theory to be proposed?

I'm putting out questions as to how the state have responded to the event and I'm suspicious of their motives.

As to the cause of the fire, I'm not putting forward any theory....that's partly the point....we should know by now.
