Palace U-23 is playing Birmingham City this afternoon. Team includes Camaras, McCarthy and Cahill - anyone there to cover it?

By all accounts Camarasa was great, and even assisted our goal. Im certainly excited to see him in the first 11, though Im uncomfortable in taking out Max, Jimmy or Luka to fit him in.

Got to be him I'm afraid, his finishing is poor now and he always looks knackered after an hour. Ideal player to bring on to tighten up midfield if winning

I know it was only Birmingham U23 but Cahill was absolute class. Positional sense and awareness outstanding. Camarassa looks good on the ball but faded second half as did McCarthy. Both need a bit more time to get fully fit.

There was a young black lad with blonde highlights, he was very,very good. Pretty sure it's Jason Lokilo. I really think he's got potential. Great technique and decent delivery. Had glimpses of first team action under FdB then out on loan last season where he didn't make much of an impact but I still believe he could make it with the right conditions. Glad to hear the newcomers also did well. The highlights weren't so flattering to Camarasa as it shows him giving away possession in dangerous areas twice -with one leading to a goal.
