I felt quite encouraged by his tenacity and willingness to get stuck in. He showed a fire that doesn’t seem to be inside any of our other midfielders.

He has been knocked by a lot on here since we signed him because of his injuries but if he stays fit he just what we need in the middle of the park. He may be small in stature but he is a tough player and can pass the ball about. I am hoping he starts on Saturday but knowing Roy he will be on the bench for months while that stocking of piss Schlupp gets a run ahead of him.

I hope Roy saw what he brought to the table. His through balls - made the Sheffield defenders turn to face their own goal on a couple of occasions and he jus needs to be given game time - especially against Brighton!
