You might think you learnt from the past but you still laughed back then.

Yep, whinging tarts don't get to tell others what they can and can't laugh at.

The Grenfell tower tragedy was exactly that....a terrible tragedy....whatever anyone says about anything doesn't change that.

Heavens above, if we were that sensitive about 'feelings', Graeme Norton, Michael McIntyre and Piers Morgan would be be burning even as we speak.

i know it is cucking...however defending jokes about 72 people losing their life in a fire in a block of flats is pretty fricking close to the bone, and shouldnt be encouraged, or excused.

i am not a snowflake by any means and dont get offended by much, you know that...however i canny joke Bout that...especially given how it could have been avoided.

Not really but shock and sadness brings out the worst in people.
alcohol seems the catalyst
That is the key factor in all of this tbh.
Take the yeast away and Angel's we are.
Just think on that BE
Your funny moments in relation to bad things have involved beer or the like.
If you dont have or had a tipple you wont be able to answer that.
It isnt a case of you know when to stop etc.
Most of the jokes you know or hear are not necessarily PC.
Answer honestly BE and your question at the end of your post will be answered.

Anyone who takes the time to blue Peter a tower compete with individual humans crafted by hand, and inserted into windows for the singular purpose of non satirical re-enactment (ie gratuitous celebration) and frivolity deserves to be callled out as a c*** of the very highest order. Just think about the thought process involved in concepting first the idea, then the meticulous construction of the tower (albeit in 5 year old style). This is not a casual joke. It’s a carefully considered manifestation.

As for how that is punished - I agree jail time may be too extreme. Public humiliation and community service should be enough IMO.

I agree with your anger, however what you are suggesting would equal state intervention for offence.....which I think has already gone way too far and in fact we need laws to be rolled back as it is.

I think what you and others called him is about right.

We need to stop the momentum and direction of travel towards a social credit system.

Ffs - can't we just go back to 'An Englishman's home is his castle' and be allowed to do what the hell we like in the privacy of our own homes without being prosecuted on the basis of complaints by people who really couldn't have been that offended on someone else's behalf?

Meanwhile, I shall continue to exercise my rights to celebrate my pagan side, in my own garden, at the full moon and other appropriate occasions, so you can all look forward to reading all about in the Sun, probably sometime soon......

Persecuting people for 'hurty feelings' is all the rage.

As for this specific form of pagan expression, I for one will buying that particular edition.

More to the point. Why do give a damn?

Personally, I couldn't care less.

You are a victim of tabloid culture.

The modern world of communications just exposes the sort of people that have always existed, good and bad, but were just ignored n the past.
