Flintoff took a few years before he really became a bowling threat and with Stokes he seems to be developing more as a batting all rounder now. Would be interesting to see people’s top three bowlers and how that list compares to the top three batsman. Archer has potential to be one of the best we’ve ever had. Speed and fear factor. Nice combo. Edited by Bekken (26 Aug 2019 6.27pm)

Botham won a series and so did Flintoff really. Stokes has won a test more or less single handedly - can he win the series?

I remember watching Flintoff and Ben Hollioake batting for an under 19 England side before fame and tragedy.
