You are absolutely correct, we are one dimensional with Zaha, all our attacking play is through him and frankly teams are getting wise to that, Zaha has said he wants to go, so his heart is not in it anymore as far as we are concerned. We have to learn to play without him for the future, so lets just get on with it, the fact that Parish et-al are unable to find or attract new talent says a lot about their inability to run a PL football club.

Intrigued to know if the Americans knew there might need to be investment into the team. We�d be relegated at the time sam came in which people will forget, and actually if we�re forecasted and are losing more money this year then you get to see their view a bit more. If the �45M are in shares as opposed to a loan the Americans have to sell them to a willing buyer at a price they wanted unless there is a share buy back clause obliging the club or SP to buy them back at a valuation at such and such a date.

There is no doubt that we have become too dependant on one player but we have also mortgaged ourselves to the max to survive in this league.
We need to replace aging players over the coming seasons so it seems inevitable that we will be selling Zaha as part of that. The key is timing. Wilf should be sold with two years on his contract but given the pressure he is creating, it could be sooner. He will either be given a huge pay rise or move on, but if he does go, the money must be spent wisely.

What the board does is another matter.

To sell Zaha, we must have deals in place for several PL standard players. No more Sorloths or aging gap fillers. Players who will take us forward for three or four seasons.

I think PSG alleged move for Zaha is subject on Naymar being sold to either Real Madrid or Barca which is also a big ask in terms of Transfer fee but still doable .
