Chatham is classy compared to Gillingham.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Well if I was on the panel judging him, I would completely exonerate him.

I'd give him a promotion, those hotheads who had been throwing punches stopped. The violence was proportionate in a difficult situation.

I’ve spent the first half of my life in Peckham and the second half of my life in Lewisham both very much worse. Still wouldn’t of traded them for Birmingham, worst place I’ve visited in the uk followed shortly by Middlesbrough and Hull.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Showed footage of the fracas on NBC Sports this afternoon. Some folks must have really peed off a particular police officer with a truncheon. He was whacking indiscriminately, totally lost it. It was shocking to see. That individual should be investigated for totally unexceptable behaviour, enroll in anger management and find another line of work.

All this viewed on NBCSN from North Carolina of course.
You couldn't of been around in the late 70s & early 80s then if you're thinking a copper should go on a diversity course

It's rather like someone holidaying in Clacton and giving holiday advice on Spain

I prefer to think of it as someone from Baghdad providing travel advice for Gaza, Freetown Liberia and cruises off the Somalian coast.

I must admit I never witnessed any fracas at all.I was in the stand opposite and at the end of the game witnessed Grealish in an irate mood being restrained by his manager and Terry hugging his erstwhile Chelsea colleagues PVA and Cahill.I then made my way to the lounge and didn't hear anybody talking about any unsavoury incidents.

I haven't seen the incident on the pitch on television so cannot comment but Grealish does seem to spend quite a lot of time on the turf.I of course saw the ball enter the net but then witnessed the referee indicating a foul so I was somewhat relieved !

Excellent policing.....

There were 2 coppers trying to save a stewards who are being filled in.. An angry violent crowd can only be met one way... with violence.. The time for talking has well and truly gone..

If you insist on trying to fight the Police or obstructing them whilst they are trying to detain someone don’t be shocked if you get a baton over your swede...

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Nail on head. You don't reason with people acting like that. You give them a taste of their own medicine.

I thank you for the link.

Reprehensible behaviour by louts and hoodlums, many of which could well be described as intellectual vacuums.I raise my hat towards the Police officer for taking robust action against such reprobates.
