Not that it affects any of my points. But we talk with and message people in other EU countries most days. Their views are not even close to those you describe.

My daughter went to Malta just before the referendum, several locals stated they hoped the UK voted to leave as they wanted to as well

So the latest iteration of yellowhammer is out.

We’ve already spent 8bn on no deal mitigation, 2bn of which was hastily added recently as it became a genuine possibility.

As expected some claims have been overblown, but the devil is in the detail. Enough of which is too much disruption for no good reason, especially when the option of a deal is viable.

Still want a no deal at all costs? Anyone got a knife for all these noses? Like moths to a flame.

I’d rather leave with a deal, thanks very much.

Really!!

Not when funds printed from bloody thin-air and charged to the masses(!) are deliberately given to those at the top of the tree (cronies)! What do they do with this 'free money', they inflate asset prices from shares to housing. Nice work if you can get it.

If you want true capitalism go to a boot-market. It's the perfect model.

All money technically comes from thin air. Thanks for the unnecessary free lesson (again) on a well known subject.

Answer the question

They've asked a load of civil servants to brainstorm anything that could possibly go wrong.

The problem with publishing these is that it shows the EU where our weaknesses are.

At least it shows that preparations have been thorough.

If we do leave on WTO terms, then there are also millions of EU citizens in the UK who will suffer. This is something that the EU would have to consider.

I run a small AirBnb here and many of our visitors come from Europe. I have never heard one of them say that they think Brexit is a good idea. They all think it's a bizarre idea and genuinely fail to understand why anyone would deliberately hurt their economy in this way.

The same applies to our visitors from further afield, and especially those from Australia.

The only ones we get who are in favour are those British people who chunter on with the same kind of tedious arguments heard on here.

What amazes me is how some foreign born folk understand and value the British system of democracy better than many who were born and live here.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

It never ceases to amaze me that people are shocked that politicians didn’t deliver what the think they were voting for. Has it really taken you that long to work out?

By all means don’t vote but you’re simply making it even worse for yourself. Kind of like a silent protest. No one cares

Er

To be clear, I didn’t say the report was overblown. I said that as expected some of the claims made by the remain side when compared to this have now been proven to be overblown. If anything the report is far less impactful than a lot of remainers were making out.

I also clearly stated that these are worst case scenarios not expected scenarios. However for me that’s enough to disprove a lot of wilful blindness from the leave side, and make me want an exit with a deal even more than before. The risk vs benefit simply doesn’t add up. Unless you’re a rabid brexiteer of course.

So, additional scathing details come out about brexit, and parliamentarians are sitting at home reading about it on the news, as opposed to doing their jobs and scrutinizing the executive as we slide ever closer to the cliff edge.

f***ing scandalous.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

'Liberal Democrats almost level with Labour in election, poll shows'

I am thinking of a lab/libdem coalition, but with labour being the minority partner.

Revoke brexit and breathe fresh air again.
