Ironically he actually looks like a journalist now.

Come on Dan - he doesn't: he's not female, feminist or hipster at all. Nor does he sign off with a little joke about white privelege or similar.
If he looks like a journo - it's one from the eighties or nineties at a push.

'Rape gangs' from the producers of a religious book.
Coming to a town near you.
Although it is a repeat, a bit like only fools but not as f***ing funny.

To be fair 'criminal gets released from prison' isn't really newsworthy.

They could have had a story about how he's back to his four bedroom detached 'mansion' (sic) with running water and a power shower.

Play the above scenario back in your head with the assumption that the Judiciary *is* corrupt.

Your only argument seems to be that for some reason it simply can't be.

Do you also believe the universities are not overtly biased? what about the Police or the mainstream media? To ignore what's going on right now you either have to not be paying attention (given you numerous posts I doubt that) or the current state of affairs suits your own political bias.

What happens when they turn against you?

No. My argument is based on experience. I have been involved in enough court cases to have total respect and confidence in the system. Every Judge I have ever heard sum up a case in which I was involved has grasped the essential points and been scrupulously fair to both sides involved. I contrast this with another jurisdiction in SE Asia where I have also been involved. Now that really is corrupt, where justice is determined not by the facts but by who has the deepest pockets.

Are Universities biased? Of course they aren't. The very nature of what they do and teach means that they are always likely to have people working within them who you would probably regard as to the left of centre. The Universities themselves have no political stance. That's not part of their ethos.

Nor are the Police, whose only loyalty is to the law and the people who live under it. Individual officers will hold a variety of opinions but will all be trained to put them aside and do their job.

Nor are the MSM, where a huge variety of views can be found. You cannot think that the Mail is anything less these days than a mouth piece for hard right views. I stumbled by accident on the letters page of the Telegraph this week and was appalled at what it had chosen to print there. It was full of bile from the far right that would have made these threads seem pink in hue. Their objectivity seems to have slipped very badly because there were just no opposing views to be found anywhere.

So I am afraid your claims reveal your own bias.

I suspect that the reason it was tried by Judges was because of the very nature of the case was that a jury could have been compromised.

If a transgender person seeks to change their name, from say Tommy to Teresa, it's likely to be because they no longer feel male.

So why did Yaxley-Lennon change his to Robinson? Was it perhaps that a double-barrelled surname doesn't present the right "man of the people" image?
I can think of no other reason and whatever it was it wasn't because he no longer identified himself as Tommy.

For sure he can do it, that's his choice, but no-one ought be surprised when his motivations are questioned as a consequence.

So if your's was an "excellent"point I think the dictionaries need revision.

You seem to think that a double barrelled surname implies an aristocratic background: in this day and age, it more usually means a b****** (combining both parents names). That probably makes him more 'a man of the people' than Robinson.

Judging by the number of hyphenated footballers it’s hardly a guarantee of an upper class background.

The BBC have nothing on his release but tons on his so called bad bits and jailing.
Clearly not biased in their reporting.

Put tom... in the search bar and tommy cooper seems to be more topical if their algorithms are set for popularity.
Ha ha what a joke of an organisation.

Let's see what he says and does now and then how it is reported.

Someone found guilty of contempt of court being released is not the least bit newsworthy, except to those who continue to deny his guilt.
