Some on Twitter claiming to feel sorry for him & his loss of confidence ? no sympathy here for someone cashing in on 120k a week & bringing nothing in return. Ayew should never be sacrificed for Benteke. Sooner CB's off the better

You'd think someone on the U-23 team would contribute more than CB at this point. I have no doubt that he's an earnest fellow, but his effort and awareness on the pitch is so lacking that we'd be better off playing Hennessey up front. At least he might get his head on a corner or a cross once every 20 matches.

you all have a go at the chance Benteke had , he had to work himself across a crowded penalty area to shoot and you could say the goalkeeper got his position correct. No one seem to be having a go at Schlupp for missing a one to one , with no other player about or was that also good position by the goalkeeper .

He is also not creaming a six figure weekly wage from us.

Six hours later but I am still livid. In my five decades of supporting Palace I have never wanted to quit or go on strike as a supporter but oh my effin days, if that overpaid c**7 ever plays for us again I think I might just throw in the towel. Edited by bifffabazz (22 Sep 2019 9.45pm)

It isn't the first...or the second nor the third opportunity he has failed completely to scoring in is it? His positional awareness is mind boggling, he is late to make runs and doesn't seem to bother looking like he's going to run his socks off.... How many games are people like you going to defend a player because he's feeling low in confidence.....the guy is a joke.

Nobody would pay Benteke the amount he’s on or will be on let alone buy him. Parish is completely out to lunch on this one. Benteke is completely useless. Terrible positional sense. The list is long. A broken player. Renewing his contract would be a big mistake. Huge. Why even have him on the subs bench?
