Great - I’m looking forward to it.

Is there an away fan friendly boozer somewhere up that end of Whitehorse Lane? Or that side of the ground at least?

Local pubs are home fans only.
I'm sure someone will know the away ones.

The George at the bottom of Whitehorse Lane is for away fans; the best pub is the Railway Telegraph, on the corner of Brigstock Road & Bensham Manor Road. Its about 15 minutes to your turnstiles from there.
Never drive myself but the is parking in Garnet Road which is a couple minutes away from the pub. Not sure about parking anywhere on Bensham Manor Road or roads off it. Hope you enjoy your day but leave us the points.

The Prince George will have the most away fans in and will be spilling onto the pavement if the weather is ok. However, as above, The Railway Telegraph is a much nicer pub. If you do drink in there, Park in Boswell Road which is free after about 100 yards.

Hope you enjoy the pub but have a miserable time at the football.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

You'll feel right at home as Selhurst still has that 'real' (championship) ground air about it.

Truth bomb.

Oh my goodness...I said the word 'bomb'....am I allowed to still say that word? Will some victimhood fetishist pop up to say how 'terrified' they are once they heard the word.

Because my old nan was bombed during the blitz I now feel victimised due to your post.

I shall be refraining from the HOL tonight in protest and lighting a candle.

This has caused me to reflect upon my actions and momentarily drawn me away from dwarf p00rn.

I think that while I clean the screen I'll commit to being more circumspect with my language.

Forgive me.....now back to putting this video on loop.

Park near Selhurst and get yourself in the Two Brewers a Shepherd and Neame pub. Talking of which I used to love their bear mats. Especially the “downed all over Kent just like the Luftwaffe” one or the one which Hitler and the slogan spot the ball. In my rugby club they had a great one of lined up soldiers with their hands in the air, machine gun pointing with the slogan ‘don’t fancy their line out much’

I’ve got to say, I’ve never really enjoyed a visit to Selhurst Park.

Partly of course because we have such a miserable record there, but also because the view from the away end is a bit rubbish.

However, I went to West Ham earlier this season and I’d choose Selhurst over that . Soulless place and a terrible view of the pitch too. Selhurst would be a great ground with replacement of the Arthur Waite with something more modern

Norwich have only beaten us once in the last 17 matches between the clubs at Selhurst Park and that was back in 1996.

We rarely beat Wimbledon there either

I remember a 4-2 defeat when we took 8000 fans and they only had about 100 there ahead of the MK move.

It’s also been rainy and cold every time I’ve been!
