Doesn’t matter if you used to play in goal for the dog and duck or Liverpool (which you never). If you rate Hennessy as a good goalkeeper then you either don’t watch him play, or don’t understand goalkeeping.
The only time I see you post on here is to dig out VG , maybe you’d rather he threw a few in than we won? It’s a very strange stance to take against one of our better players.

When I mentioned heeding the view of someone who played in goal I was not referring to myself but another poster who had played in goal and took more interest in that position.

As for knowing about goalkeeping I think that managers
like Chris Coleman, Gary Speed, Ryan Giggs,Mark Hughes, Tony Pullis, Alan Pardew, Sam Allardyce and Roy Hodgson who have all selected Hennessey know far more about football than you as they have chosen him. If he was a bad keeper they would not have given him the time of day. If VG gets injured then WH will be our goalkeeper I can only conclude that it is you who does not understand goalkeeping.

As for digging out VG what the hell have you been doing re WH for years? Pot and kettle springs yo mind.

Well if you say Hennessey was a bad goalkeeper then why did all the Welsh managers not choose someone else
as they did not need to buy anyone else as they had their pick of anyone Welsh. McCarthy had nothing to do with Allardyce I think that was Pardew. As WH played over a 100 games for us you cannot argue that the mana gers I mentioned did not have a choice but to pick Hennessey. If he was a bad keeper he would have been shipped out long ago as McCarthy was. I've been a Palace fan all my life and I never want to see us lose and am certainly not happy when we concede. But I am not seduced by VG and will criticise when he's at fault. It just makes me smile when people like you, who would crucify WH for the slightest mistake, don't say a word when VG does the same.
