They also think Wilf still wants to go there....

Hmm, everton would be a good project for him, he would want some money to spend too... nice stadium, good crowd... so yeah, the potential is there, bit like leicester and rodgers, he came ina nd quietly did wonders, plus mourinho can show his worth again.

He likes wilf, but i don't know if he is the answer for everton.

I still stand by my statement that wilf should have been sold to one of arsenal or everton and the money spent on a first team replacement, sure we would never get someone like wilf, but do we really need another wilf, or a player that works hard, gives us options as well as goals? Let's say we got 45 mil for wilf. That's a nice 30 mil to spend on his replacement - 25 mil with a good scout network does that. The awb money was there.

This was once a quality forum....

We are 4th equal in the Premier. If Wilf continues on current form he will be playing for a Champions league contender. Isn’t that what he wanted? Plus he wouldn’t have to move to Liverpool. Win win all round.

8 games in and contenders for Europe. Wonder how many players in the Euro cups earn more than Wilf?
Against West Ham Wilf showed his usual ways. Random exceptional skill. Regular anger. Losing his cool. Constant bickering culminating in a spitting incident that carried no weight.
Hopefully he will stay, but if he still wants to go he needs to change his mood on the pitch. Not sure many big clubs buy into his kind of current ways.

According to the media Wilf is trying to sue his agent for not managing to get him a move away from Palace

Wilf has this morning sent a tweet to Mail Online saying it is total bollocks that he is sacking his agent so yet again another totally made up article. Think this has happened to Wilf before and it is getting similar to the crap that has been about Raheem Sterling in the past.

I seriously don't understand how these so called journalists keep getting away with writing such horse s***e there should be some sort of regulatory body to discipline them for this kind of stuff

His tweet was quite evasive as he didn't actually deny it. His actual tweet was :-

"do you lot sit and literally wonder what I’m up too then just make up stuff about me"

evasive or imprecise? I'd say the latter. but any normal person would read it as him saying the article is materially untrue.

He wouldn't have sent that tweet if the story was true would he? I think it's fairly obvious this is more media rubbish

What is beyond dispute is that he wanted out in the summer and put in a transfer request, that he felt the club had gone back on its word, and that he wants to change his agent.
All this is a matter of public record.
From my perspective he has had one good game this season - against Wolves.
In other matches he has turned up in flashes but has never looked like the Wilf we are used to seeing.
I’m genuinely unsure where this story goes.
At the moment no top club seems willing to pay Palace the reputed £80 million demanded.
I suppose this could change if Wilf’s form is outstanding and the top clubs have a vacancy owing to injury/loss of form in their own squads.
That’s a lot of ifs, buts and maybes though.
Chelsea have been mooted as a possibility but already have Hudson Odoi, Pulisic, Mount, Pedro, Willian and Loftus Cheek as well as Abraham, Giroud and Batshuayi.
A move there seems unlikely.
