The reason for his contract extension (Benteke) is that we can claw back something for that waste of space that we got stitched up for in the first place .

The only way I could (barely) accept this is if they agreed to dilute the money in 2 seasons (example instead of 6M in one season I give you 4M for 2 seasons), so that the lower wage makes moving him on easier.

You could argue that we wouldn't be in the Premier, if it wasn't for his 15 goals in his first season. For some reason his form has collapsed since Roy arrived and a change of style.
