The idea that the 2016 result is somehow out of date because Remainers have conspired to delay Brexit
this long is so clearly self serving and illogical that it is astonishing that anyone who claims to be intelligent would seriously float it.

By what authority do you declare it "eliminated"?

That isn't your decision. It isn't the government's. It isn't anyone's except Parliament.

You can regard every MP as unintelligent if you wish but that won't stop them doing what they believe to be right.

You have every right to express your opinion at the next GE, alongside everyone else. That's the ONLY authority you have.

Would you rather have an all powerful Monarch, whose will must be obeyed whatever their state of mind or personal preferences?

Abandoning Parliamentary democracy in favour of the executive is the first step on a similar road, maybe not back to a totalitarian Monarchy but towards a totalitarian government.

You might be frustrated by Parliament's actions but the bottom line is that they are doing it for all our interests. Yours included.

No they are not and if think that you better run along to that nursing home!

What on earth are you wittering about?

The people outside Parliament almost certainly come from a variety of backgrounds, both those supporting remaining and those supporting leaving.

Which has zilch to do when anything I posted. There is nothing hardcore about wanting the best for your country and it's citizens. There are plenty of strong opinions and passion on both sides.

And without a crystal ball what is the best for us.

Still your opinion only though.
Where is this knowledge and information you have acquired to allow you to know more about the disaster you think brexit will be.
You must be an expert on
The environment, workers rights, immigration, tax, road haulage, and all other parts of the UK's operation.
Alongside reading 563 pages of the deal.
Wow wissy you truly are amazing; or just a partizan remainer with your own opinion.

It has nothing to do with the detail of any "deal".

It has everything to with 40 months of evaluation, discussion and explanation about the impact on the difficulties involved in untangling 40 years of membership. Not to say the unveiling of the issues in NI and the potential breakup of the UK itself.

Those things were not considered by me in 2016. They are now. Not just by me but by many others.

Yes they are. How on earth do you think you know otherwise? Can you read minds?

The arrogance of some "leavers" defies belief sometimes.

Wanting the best is not the same as knowing the best.

You can honourably want the first but hold different opinions on the second.

Right for them.

We don't need to vote for Brexit twice.

And you can read there minds then? The current set of elected mps are in my mind and probably 17+ million others are self serving! The only reason they don't want an election is most of them will be voted out! You know this and so do they! You'll probably be in denial of this as most people who want to remain are!

For all those who don't believe that advertisements and social media activities make any difference, this is what Carole Cadwalladr posted on Twitter yesterday:-

"MPs, as you prepare to make history, know you do so on basis of a corrupt & illegal vote. Know that in any other election, the result would be set aside & election re-run. Below is will of the people - flipping at exact moment Cummings/Johnson unleashed their illegal ad storm"

Check this link for the evidence of the impact:-

Carole Cadwalladr, in case you are unaware, is the journalist who exposed the Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal.

Do you really wonder why people question the integrity, honesty and motivations of Johnson?

I don't pretend to be able to read minds.

What I am confident about is that most MPs are very much more devoted public servants than you give them credit for. Especially those who won't be seeking re-election and can express themselves freely and without any need to look over their shoulders.

I have met several MPs in my time, all Tories, and all good honest people who tried to do their best.

i had a good friend who was on first name terms with Michael Meacher and she thought he was a wonderful guy, totally committed to his job and not the least self interested.
