I think with Vicente in goal, the first goal doesnt happen.
Hennessey loves going for an adventure in no mans land, whereas Guiata is much more assured and will only come out if he knows hes getting something on the ball.

Wayne is a good shot stopper and a great kicker, but lacks situational awareness.

Was thinking - if this game had been played last season we would, have lost 3-1 and Wilf would have been carded.
VAR worked for us today, and no doubt on occasions it will go against us, but it certainly has levelled the playing field.

I read the comments about the late 'rugby tackle' on Wilf and thought "yeah, yeah". Now I've seen it on MOTD2, I'm incredulous how that wasn't a straight red card. Absolutely outrageous big club bias.

And fair play to Wrighty for calling out Atkinson for his keeness to book Wilf for simulation, without any regard to the facts!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

The Ref was the 12th man for arse
Spot on .... Ian Wright called it as did all palace fans watching

A point away that I wasn’t expecting, but could we have taken all 3 if Wilf had got away and slid it home. Well who knows, but from what I saw that was a dog s*** performance by the Atkinson.

Surely he should be dropped to the Championship, he was terrible.

Absolutely.

Kouyate has impressed me when pushing up and around the box this season but the way he turned his back on that shot is unforgivable.

I can take mistakes, everybody makes them, but turning your back on the ball?!
Sorry but anyone who is guilty of that doesn't deserve to wear a Palace shirt.

And he lost his man, allowing a header
for Guendouzi to score.

Brilliant point, great comeback etc...but still small details we should improve on.

Watching the goals this morning our Number 8 absolutely bottles closing down their first goal and makes himself as small as possible because he's scared of being hit by a football.

I fully support JA's reaction to being subbed and the joker that replaced him CB, gave Arsenal the ball, which led to a corner and then passed it to them again in our box from which they hit the net.

Fortunately it was ruled out, but come on CB as well as not scoring you have become a 12th man for the opposition.

I know Max Meyer isn’t everyone’s favourite player but I’d put him in the team ahead of Kouyate every time. At least he has a bit of invention in him and certainly has a goal threat which is more than Kouyate does.

With respect, Meyer has scored 10 goals in his last 114 appearances.
Kouyate over Meyer for me.Meyer just doesn't fit into the Hodgson team organisation.

I’m not saying I agree with just a yellow but Wilf still had a long way to go to bear down on goal.. it was probably this factor that made Atkinson decide on only a yellow.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
