Hopefully the Brexit party get enough seats to form a majority for the Torys in a hung parliament. That's better than a Tory majority for me.

A 'Hung Parliament' would mean more impasse,more dither and delay and the electorate being even more fed-up than they are at the present time.It is because of a 'Hung Parliament' that we have not exited the EU and become the laughing stock around the world. The polls point to a comfortable Conservative majority at this juncture but maybe it will be closer than the polls currently indicate.We are taking nothing for granted.I can assert with confidence that the Conservative campaign and manifesto will not be as abject as was the case in 2017 and of course Boris Johnson is a far better campaigner than Theresa May. I am really looking forward to getting out and campaigning on the doorsteps and in the streets for the Conservative Party as I have done on numerous occasions for both national and local elections.Not forgetting of course the delivery of leaflets and all other tasks required at such elections. Edited by Willo (30 Oct 2019 8.58am) I agree That the fiasco with Brexit can pretty much be traced back to Teresa Mays decision to haveing that election when she was looked for more majority and fecked it, so having to side with The DUP, and Meaning That she couldn't get her deal through with enough support... but I'm normally a tory, but I don;t think I can vote for them this time round - even thogh I like Boris generally - but I don't agree with Brexit, especially in this guise. and I cant viote for Corbyn, coz hes a disaggreable t***, which leaves me with only one other option. I don't share yours or the polls confidence of a tory majority at the next election.

Theresa May rightly recognised she needed a larger Conservative majority to 'Get Brexit done' but a combination of a dire manifesto and campaign put paid to that. In terms of the polls, I take nothing for granted and not assuming that the Conservatives will romp home as the polls currently suggest.
