No it is Edinburgh their seat of government and just like any country in the EU or out they should run themselves.

How anybody can possibly want to be run by Westminster is beyond me.

Have to let them go, and Northern Ireland getting closer to a united Ireland according to the polls.

If we want to commit national suicide we can hardly blame them for wanting out.

I don't get why Labour is so keen to get into bed with the SNP and let them have another referendum in return for their support, it's very short sighted.

There are 59 Westminster seats in Scotland at the last GE the SNP won 35, Tories 13, Lib Dems 4 and Labour 7.

It was a bit of a freak result for the Tories and a really bad one for Labour.

The seats in Scotland historically swing between SNP and Labour. If the SNP get their independence then that takes 59 seats out of the equation a far bigger potential loss for Labour than the Tories. Even if Labour don't increase their vote the SNP won't side with the Tories so no downside for Labour.

I know it's coming up to Christmas but Turkey's voting and all that?
