He is amazing for his age, probably one of the best in the world. Was the one feeding Piatek many assists to score in the start of the season. Playing like that at just 20 (recently turned 21), with 4 goals and 5 assists in the Serie A and 14 goals and 16 assist in the Serie B is not easy. He has the build, he is fast, has everything for a bright future. At 22 million, I'm pretty sure that could be recouped either way in the English football in 2 years time, even if he doesn't have the desired impact. Also, could rise to 80 million in 2 years if he does.

Suppposedly recovering from injury until the summer, but was healthy enough to have a medical with Fiotentina. Signed him on loan with an option to buy of just 11 million euros. Kind of like 9 million pounds+ some bonuses. But only to be paid if he fully recovers by the summer, they can take the option or not. Very good business from Fiorentina. An injury at an young age which will certainly be overcome. He will develop into one of the most expensive in Italy.

We were never going to get a player who is injured until the summer and have we ever been linked anyway?

Spiderman, go ask the Palace board if we were "seriously" linked. This is a Kouame theread (not made by me), there have been numerous articles citing interest from Palace and I just wrote what happened eith the bloke. I don't think he will be injured until the summer. I think his recovery is going well cause he's hard working and he'll be back on the pitch in a month. It would have been a good deal, that's my take on it. Now I understand why a club like Palace would be weary, cause of what happened with Wickham. But this is normally a 30 million player (in a Top 5 league, not like Bowen in the Championship), at his first and only injury. To get a price like 11 million is good business for any team buying such a player.
