Some really decent performances across the team.

The more I see of our keeper, the more I am impressed.

Great reflexes - and have we ever had a better puncher of the ball?

Nothing typifies Palace like a good old melee in the penalty area. Either the ball bobbles off a few knees and toes or we half-heartedly clear the ball in the penalty area to the opposition attacker and concede.

Why are we so scrappy? Why doesn’t anyone ever seem to put their laces through the ball?

We more than matched Liverpool today, but given the opportunity to clear our lines we much preferred to play silly buggers and offer them a reprieve. One of the most pointless losses I’ve seen in a long time!

Burnt out from what i saw. Just couldn't keep it going.
Not sure but imo their defence dropped off last season after losing Gomez.
This season they have looked far from secure at the back and are shipping a fair few goals relative to early last season.
Massive over reliance on their forwards too with no obvious back up.
Couple of injuries to those forwards and they might start to struggle.
Hope so.

Also add to that Citeh havn't hit their straps yet this season and have had some key players injured.

A good and encouraging performance.

But as long as any opposition team knows that a decent number of corners inevitably will lead to at least one goal, this does not provide us with a lot of points.

I have never seen a Palace side - or any other side - defend corners so poorly. And Roy does not seem to have the slightest idea on how to correct this.

Roy informs his players, they fuck it up.

Townsend was terrific today (along with most of them ) but he was especially good
How Schlupp kept him out the side ... he came on today and as per
usual , jogged around hiding from the ball.
It was great to see us press high up the pitch today ... we look a good side when we press high

No other team can turn defend into attack as quickly as Liverpool can and that is why they will win it this season.

Well done Palace... not often we lose and it still feels like a win. We did everthing bar win, played the better football, and definately deserved a win, let alone a draw ... and scored a proper goal, which is more than could be said for their two goals.. combined! Moral victory here!!!!

He was very good today, think he’s better against better teams as he crosses the ball earlier , knows he can’t take on quality defenders 2 or 3 times.
Schlupp took his place as he was anonymous for a few games in a row.

We look a very good side with a lot less passing mistakes that is all, Schlupp was very unlucky not to score.
