To counter the height of the Burnley forwards do the same as last year - play Hennessey, it worked ok as we won 3-1.

We have played the top 4 teams plus Arsenal in our last 5 games . No one excepted us to win any of those . BUT now part 2 of our seasons starts , with a 2-0 win against Burnley .

They have almost double the amount of goals than us this season with Wood having 6 from 6. Will be a very tough test to come away with anything, 1-0 I'm afraid.

We really struggle to score goals, just look at last week, only one taken from all our good play and chances, so 2-0 Burnley

Ward out and Cahill touch and go - not look too good with Burnley seemingly on a high. Would drop Ayew (cost us 2 goals vs Liverpool and seemingly running with no purpose the last couple of games) for Benteke. Really - CB was actually making contributions last week and with Burnley's warriors, think the big Belgian will be up for it at Turf Moor.
Happy with a point though....

Cahill would be a huge loss if he can't start, probably more so than Ward (who has performed admirably this season). I generally avoid watching Burnley, so I'm basing this mainly on Roy's ability to get results against teams in and around us, so 2-1 Palace with Wilf and Bentenke to score (yes you read that right!)

We all have to do a forfeit if Benteke scores.
