Good win at an improving Burnley side. If we can get something out of the Bmuff game the league table will look a lot more rosier...

18 points by the end of November , having played the top 5 , is blinding. Should be right up there after the December fixtures. Could realistically be touching 30 points at the turn of the new year. VAR has been good to us, but would be in a healthy position for any potential buyers.

Bournemouth have lost their last 3 games, all by a single goal.

What do you infer from that fact?

6. Sakho is certainly one that focusses the attention.

He has a very odd way of carrying himself with the hunched shoulders, any one remember Bobby Tambling.
HIs passes are so late it always seems he will get robbed yet most of his passes are very accurate.

Never a dull moment

He has since his debut , you cannot believe what he does and attempts , but once you realise he means to do it and nearly always gets it right it is brilliant entertaining stuff (once your heart rate gets back to normal) and he puts his body on the line for some vital blocks.

Big shout out for Vincente Guaita , making some great saves and becoming very consistent.

Well done Palace , made Burnley look very ordinary.

I think you mean 'what do you imply by that?'. He's implying you're inferring.

That they are not in the sparkiest of form but have not been annihilated in recent games.
They have however conceded 6 goals in their last 3 games.

Crocked and could have cost us just before he went off, but a great ball for Wilf's goal.

Who do you think might be planning to buy VAR from Liverpool?

A great position to be in and I was feeling very pleased until a gremlin tapped me on the shoulder and whispered December 2015 and Alan Pardew in my ear. Christmas time we had some 30 points on the board.

After that there were only two more victories during the rest of the season. But, of course, we did survive thanks to the first half of the season and hopefully our present tally will also see us in good stead.

This feels very different to the Pardew era. Roy is all about slow and steady, getting the basics right, and keeping the points ticking over. I agree with Casual that 30 points by end Dec is possible and would be fantastic on many levels...but we're gonna need fortune with injuries.
