Actually I think it was only about 3 who were critical of him. So who is exaggerating?

Everyone else defended his actions and claimed outrage when he was charged, found guilty and jailed.

Which is only to be expected here. Anything else would be totally out of character.

Of course not. You wouldn't expect anything else here.

"Robinson" though is not a lefish bogeyman. He is a hard right cult hero so his treatment is completely different.

As a counter weight to right wing rhetoric.

And actually, why are people reading your Westminster process nonsense anyway? If you were ignored you’d eventually disappear. Might take a while I expect seeing as you’re bored being where you are, without a single concern, telling everyone else what’s what. Bore off.

You would have to ask them that, though I doubt if you would get a truthful reply. I am far too busy to be bored, don't concern yourself about that. I just think and type quickly. It doesn't occupy nearly as much of my time as you might think.

We need an ‘ignore the bore’ button.

No "we" don't. You just need some discipline and determination. I successfully ignore several posters here. It's not difficult.

Plenty of devoted fan boys posting there.

You are doing what all Lefties do.
Trying to make snide insinuations and besmirching those with particular viewpoints by associating them with negative perceptions.

We are so far past that stuff. More and more people are starting to see your kind for what you are. You want to stop us from being 'wrong' while imposing your twisted ideals on all of us. People will not be cowed anymore.

No one tells me how to think.

The point I was making is the fact that someone has a thread dedicated to them does not necessarily mean there is a groundswell of lauding in their direction.

I certainly don't detect a hard-right cabal on HOL and if you assert that there is, I will vehemiently disagree with you no matter what arguments you put forward.

I do get the impression that you prefer opposition to your views as it provides you with the impetus to continue spoon-feed us what the great and good on HOL might view as warm diarrhoea.

I have no intention whatsoever of casting personal slurs in your direction as this poisons the well of debate but the tone of vaunting superiority coupled with what many consider 'Bilgewater' has not really added value to this cherished site. You are in good company as 'Yours Truly' has been accused of similar sentiments in the distant past!

Finally, far from besmirching you as a person I will give you some credit. To my miniscule mind (As opposed to yours) not too many persons aged 75, would have the energy nor inclination to debate on a plethora of sites, nor perhaps travel the world and arise at 3AM to view streams of our games.A few people that I have met of your era are technical deserts but clearly you are totally 'Au Fait' with present day technology - clearly more than me!

Robinson is 'hard right' when it comes to Islam.

Outside of that he's quite liberal and very pro Israel....and how 'hard right' is that?

People are just ignorant and believe what the left say.

For example, most people don't know that Richard Spencer endorses Bernie Sanders and supported Corbyn over Johnson......and also supported 'remain'.....it's all too far left for me.

It's quite amusing really.....it's like a cult which makes up its own reality.

This is becoming more evident by the week.

The question is whether the majority actually believe the lies or are a little smarter.
Recent electoral trends tend to suggest the latter.

I think we need to detach racism from political view. Robinson is racist, nobody is supporting him for his views on VAT rates. I honestly don't know how much weight there is on Labours "Anti-antisemitism" or the Tories "Anti-islam" but if true then racism and prejudice are common on both sides, neither are a left vs right political view.

If your view is a simple "We have too many foreigners for the infrastructure to cope" then that
is a reasonable right wing view, if your view is "Those people want to come over and rape our women" then...erm...fine I guess, but dont try to disguise that as a political debate (Not you specifically by the way!)

i miss 2010 when political debate consisted of debating how often bins should be collected or if women should be allowed to ref mens football, politics has become a genuinely unpleasant conversation now

I understand the reason of your argument but unfortunately, the elephant in the room is that some of those people have come over here and raped our women in large numbers.
It is just not acceptable to sweep that reality under the carpet just to support a particular narrative.

Does it really make someone a racist because they are angry about that or because they remind people that they warned them about allowing certain types of cultures into this country?
I see no relation to racism at all.
Life s just not about simple narratives and ideals. We live in a world where the various political tribes just want to promote a simple message and the truth is lost amongst the rhetoric.

Racist?

There is no evidence that Robinson is 'racist' as you put it.

Islam is not a race and Robinson has non whites who support him. You are just repeating leftist propaganda.

The fact remains, the majority of Robinson's views aren't 'hard right'......and the reality of the 'hard right' is that they have more in common with the statist 'hard left' than people realise.
