I've heard from someone in the club, I can't quote my sauce so please don't ask, but this is actually in the pipeline. Poch is coming in to work with Roy until the end of his contract and because of his relationship, he is bringing in Kane to be backup to Benteke.

Is your 'sauce' HP or Heinz as a source would be more believable.

Whether Hodgson stays or retires could well be determined by the guarantees he is given in terms of funds for transfers. Perhaps, with an ageing squad and a rebuilding process required over the medium term,he might deem it is best for the club to appoint someone to undertake and continue this process, as any contract Hodgson signs will be short-term.For avoidance of doubt this is mere speculation. Pochettino as coach, Roy as the driver, Biffo the Bear to run the reserves, Mr Blobby for the under 18s and SP should be replaced by a little pink pussycat from Hemel Hempstead.

Just put the Manager in waiting into the action as mental development manager of the under 23s, and when he steps up (with his selection of Academy Products) find we have a team that is feared.
