How many Everton managers has Tosun played under who don't seem to have fancied him

Hmmm I'm not sure about him.

What does Matteo think of him and can he suggest any alternatives ?

Two? I don't see how he can be the answer. We surely should be going for 2 highly mobile strikers - one young and cheap, the other a proven goalscorer at the top level (like Batman).

Then again I guess we'd have said the same about Ayew. He's turned out ok - with occasional glimpses of real quality.

Is he any good at meeting crosses at the right time and place? He’s not much great use elsewhere and we have nobody currently (playing) who can slot a ball between defenders.

Maybe he’ll be a bit useful with all that possession we don’t produce much from, because he has little pace, although I have seen him break with the ball from halfway line to goal with 2 defenders on on him.

He can strike a ball better than anyone apart from possibly Schlupp. We’ll get answers to all these questions and how he fits with us without much financial risk, which is our strategy regardless so it’s not necessarily a bad trial. Anyone else expensive relies on Zaha’s sale. The issues at Palace today always come down to the shareholder issues.

The two loudest rumours at the moment are this and Batshuayi; I can't see both coming on loan as both will probably want to be starting regularly, therefore I wonder if Tosun is a backup option. We are always going to be going in for reserve players of other teams at this stage of the season if we want players with PL experience, so if that's our plan there is not a lot of options out there.

Please keep Tosun and Batman away from the club both not good enough . If we wont a player who is scoring goals and in Roy's age bracket and an ex player lets go for Aaron Wilberham

Hearing that Batsman could be part of deal for Zaha that will take place in summer.

Whilst there are always rumours about Zaha going here, there and everywhere there is also an interesting story that Zaha is demanding wages of £200,000 per week which Chelsea aren't willing to pay as it will upset their existing wage structure.

Doe it have the ring of truth?

Didn't somebody mention on here that Bats was going to stay at Chelski and fight for his place ? Roy obviously thinks Tosun has something if we are back in for him.

Sorry if this has been discussed already but should this post be renamed ‘first rumour’.

We seem to be linked with this guy every window and if there’s any substance this reeks of us scraping the barrel again looking to get through another window without spending any sort of money at all.

I think anyone professing to know what our plans are including how much money is being spent is talking absolute nonsense. I’m once again not expectant, hopeful or optimistic at all.

I’m pretty sure the OP has proved to be fake news in the past too.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Haven’t seen much at all to back this story up. Every one knows we need a striker, and every possibility is going to be thrown out there.
As for Tosun, he hasn’t shown to be that effective if left on his own, few are, but that’s the way we tend to approach games , or at least until we are desperate for a goal. So if he came it would be not so much of a direct improvement , as an alternative. Tosun, was a Big Sam , want at Palace, not sure if he would have been a great fit at the sort of money then wanted for him.
