Willo, on balance it's probably favourite not to post claiming supposedly to be in-the-know, especially if one has a track record of being wrong. I'm sure you're familiar with "better to say nothing and appear a fool, than open one's mouth and prove it beyond doubt".

Indeed but there is many a slip betwixt cup and lip. I wonder how many players have said yes I will come only to get a better offer from elsewhere? I suspect that goes on all the time so until they put pen to paper it's all speculation. Then of course these are the agents pushing for a new deal who leak stories "Palace interested in star player" even when we are not. And of course there are the rivals who pretend to be interested just to force the price up. There is also the "chain" club A willing to sell to club B but only after they have bought a replacement from club C who are willing but just need to buy a player from club D etc. I don't doubt the sincerity of the poster nor the club informant but it must be like putting together a jigsaw without the picture.

Oh and Chris Waters (aka Clapham Grand) tweeted on 4 January that a Turkish journalist is reporting Tosun is supposedly close to joining on six month loan (albeit without commenting on the likely accuracy). No requirement for any in-the-know knowledge required at all.
