For people that have this view, I always wonder how they felt whilst we were in the championship

You might have to explain to some of them what the championship is

Lack of investment in the team, no ambition beyond simply trying to stay up, loanees and free transfers cobbled together, ageing and injury prone, no upgrade to the stadium. Will still travel away to support the team, but seriously thinking about giving up my season tickets next year - beginning to feel that the directors are taking the mick.

Okay boomer

I often have to remind myself of where similar and bigger sized clubs are when it’s tough or boring or predictable viewing 90% of the time, and that’s because of the richer shareholders. But I’m also concerned that when we do drop we won’t have moved any further forward to close the gap in infrastructure between us and everyone else, our ground will still be sh1t and our revenue 14th in the league without any redeeming features to attract players apart from a singing section, which doesn’t attract players despite what people dream up. Even if we get relegated the singing section would be difficult to grow because the lower Holmesdale would still be full apart from maybe the front rows.

The tedium on the pitch is certainly a means to an end but boy is it tough being there. Can make you glaze over watching on a stream.

I think most fans realise that Palace are a yo-yo side Who will never become permanent fixtures at the top. However the seemingly lack of ambition amongst the owners of the club is really quite depressing.
Coupled with the style of play Roy has had to resort to, there's much dissatisfaction amongst the fans and probably our best players to.

I don't really understand why after seven seasons in the Premier League we seem so impoverished. Obviously we are paying too much to the players but then so aren't all Premier League clubs?

Assuming we survive this season, what hope is there for the next?
What are the reasons to be optimistic? I'd really like to know.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

A lot of supporters are missing the point that this moment in time is an amazing opportunity to cement our place in the PL, attract investment, etc, etc, however just when we need the Board to stand up and put their hand in the pocket to improve our squad, they slide off and back-pedal and come up with whatever excuses they can for why we are not buying players, not improving the ground. I just don’t want this moment to be thrown away by those at the helm.

Anyway, 3 weeks left to see if Roy is going to get the players he deserves. As some have rightly said, probably best to keep our powder dry until then but there will be some worried and very frustrated fans if nothing happens.

We are a week in and have been short of a right back and front man since the last window. Can’t quite see why we would not have someone lined up first day of the window rather than the last. Just taking a wild guess that the board are seeing how close we can get to 40 points before the window closes so they dont have to get their wallet out. My bet, two free transfers and a loan deal on deadline day. No one under 25 years of age.

The Crystals.

I think Woods will be a good player.

Second that! A right back (by profession) should have been coming in first day of window open. Using a really good central defender there might cost us dearly in the end.

Do what you want, there is a waiting list.

How will you get enough loyalty points to buy away tickets?

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Yes, great ides, lets do every thing we can to damage the club,
im sure all the other bull s**t you wrote(copies from media crap) must be 100% accurate as well,
After giving up your season ticket, what would be your chosen club to support, Millwall are doing quite well. I'm sure they would suit down to the ground, WFC Wimbledon are also doing quite well
