We did indeed but maybe Haaland was not available or (heaven forbid) didn’t fancy Palace

Well, he was available. That's why he cost 8 million to leave. What are we talking about?

And why would a player not want to come to the Premier League, where most money and best players are? He was only dreaming of PL back then. Austria League was what he had to settle for.

Just maybe he didn’t fancy Palace, wouldn’t be the first won’t be the last

Who's to say Sorloth wont come good? I rated him...still do..it's our formation that stiffles our strikers

Haland would have been in the exactly the same situation Sorloth finds himself in now had we gone for him instead.

They are completely different kinds of players and at the time we were after someone we felt would be able to come straight into the first team. At 19 years old Haaland wasn't that player and he doesn't look like Dolph. Sadly, Sorloth didn't work out.

Quite frankly you could put Lewandowski in our starting 11 and he'd struggle to get 10 goals in a season.

Having said that, if we were after a striker, I think we should be looking at Soita at Haalands former club who looks like a great prospect too. If we could also get their scouting system too, that would be dandy.

Haaland is one of the best in the world. The best in the world play since the age of 18-19. He seems to be doing great at this age in the German tough Bundesliga

And I repeat, maybe, just maybe he didn’t want to come to Palace. Perhaps his dad, who knows a bit about the PL, advised him against it. Pointless to keep speculating as to why he is not a Palace player, perhaps thread should be locked

You're wrong here. We were the club interested in that Northern market (especially because Roy coached there before). There were 2 Norwegians who looked top level-promising (Haaland more than Sorloth, cause he was even better at an earlier age).

We got 1 of them. Sorloth. This was the transfer depaetment's decision. We were really close to Haaland.

Roy hasn’t coached in Norway for 15 years!

You don’t know sh@t about what goes on behind the scenes at a football club. Your just a spotty little lad who sits at his computer all evening playing FIFA and masturbating.
