When I get chance to take time off work I go to watch the Under 23's and usually I enjoy... But is it now we are premier league, are the better younger players being drawn by lower league teams, because these lads see a chance to play for those senior teams (against the chance of better coaching at CP) and if good enough, they will brought by top teams. We seem to get beat by lower league teams alot at this age group.. now its said we play a lower age group every season, are we therefore releasing CP players early in their careers, whilst lower league teams hold on to theirs longer? whats your thoughts?

You need a club and a manger committed to giving youth a chance. Chelsea have it now Frank Lampard is there. Aaron wan bissaka only got a chance due to injury and apparently was close to joining Coventry before fate intervened. Maybe the new training ground and category 1 status - if it arrives - will give the club a platform to regularly bring through more youngsters. They're seems to be less reliance now we are a premier league team - with only Zaha from the academy and then nobody ?
