I have been saying this for years and was continually put back in my box by folks intent on blowing smoke up the a@@e of Mt Parish. He did save the club you know. Without him we wouldn't have a club blah blah.

He is turning into the man if rumours are to believe he never got on with a certain Mr S Jordan, a man who loved the club but lacked the money or acumen to run it. Ig stories to appease the fans - the stand will never be built, selling young talent (AWB) just to balance the books.

I sometimes wonder if we will be back in the hands of the administrators before long.

Yes fully agree with the "piece" and that the club needs a shake up.
Its starts from the manager!!
Kids want to play football and have a chance, then they see the style of football we are playing..... and maybe they are at places like Millwall who are doing very well.. BUT from the Under 23's, under 18's, Ladies and now the 1st team, it all seems on the down hill.
We go to matches and we see for ourselves what the problems on the pitch are, some fans dream that its all ok from seeing "highlights" on TV.
It is what the article says!

Ps one thing is happening so give credit, love the improvements to our "old stand", bar areas etc and "boxes".... it got rather tacky.
Improvements are going on with box office too

Bournemouth, Brighton and Burnley survive on similar crowds so why can't we. Also being near London should be easier to attract players.

I'll admit to being one who fell for 'promises' but as times gone by it's become clear that rather than putting the club in a good position regarding the infrastructure to move us into the 21st century on a decent footing, the path has become nothing more than 'Premier League or bust' for a while now.

10yrs wasted imo.

We had an average attendance, last season, of 25,455. Bournemouth had an average attendance last season of 11,096, but sail very close to, and sometimes fall foul of, FFP. Brighton had an average attendance of 30,426, and they have a sugar daddy happy to indulge them to the tune of £300m and Burnley had an average of 20,537 although they don't have the wage bill we do. The closest, attendance-wise to us last season were Fulham with 24,371 and Huddersfield with 23,872 and we all know what happened to them both.

Thanks for the facts.
The high wages of players who don't play much has been discussed a lot and needs to be sorted pretty soon.

Relegation is inevitable unless something changes. We have a manager who has no concept of how to change games with the use of substitutes or through a tactical change, brings in players and then inexplicably doesn't play them and doesn't play players like Reidewald despite the fact he probably has more ability than most of his teammates put together. We may stay up this season but we may not and if we do go down it could be a long time before we return.

When has Riedewald ever looked he has more ability than most of his teammates put together ?

This is some myth because he can pass the ball 5 yards without being under pressure. The bloke is stationary and slow. He is not a Pirlo, a Gareth Barry or Jack Grealish. He’s a stand in or someone to make up 10 men behind the ball for 90 mins. Even if he’s had a few good games at LB he’s not a modern day one and he’s not there physically either.

He can come on v Everton and curl a free kick into the corner now.
