It isn't Roy's fault. The main problem lies with the owners who haven't invested in this ageing squad. Summer hardly no one. We lost Bowen to West Ham which would have been good signing for us. If the board don't change their ways I.e. invest not saying £150m but getting 5-6 players in whether they be loans, free transfers don't matter as long as they can improve the side that is what counts. Even if Roy goes end of the season any incoming manager will also struggle unless the owners change their ways. If they cannot do this the owners should sell up

I don't know the answer for sure, but I suspect that, as ME has suggested previously, the money was promised rather than handed over. Reading between the lines I think that the directors have had to make loans to keep the club solvent, recovering them when the TV money comes in, then rinse and repeat. At the end of the day, the US investors were in it to make a profit and they may well have underestimated how difficult that would be for a Mid-table PL team. It's all a bit of a mess and we'd probably have been better off if the original gang of four were still in charge.

I would say yes let him go end of the season but then I say but who else would accept what SP is doing here no one look at the managers that have walked the guy is rotten clearly. People keep using that excuse about no money how do you know that it could be Roy turning down the players offered also look how he plays always sticking to his favorites do you blame people not wanting to come. Roy is good at one thing only organizing he has shown tactics and attacking side of the game he is useless and is too stubborn to even allow coaches in those areas. How can a club like ours that is was quality at set pieces plus great counter attacking football be the worst in the league in both those areas now. I said this in everton vs palalce thread Big Sam just on bt sports highlighted such simple things we dont even do anymore and why is that it's Roy it even showed why Benteke has been poor he is in the positions at times but never gets the service. the other thing the guy is what 72 years old why does he not have some one under him learning.
