I’ve still got a year left at Palace. I think the intention is to go back to Palace. The chairman (Steve Parish) has made that quite clear to me.

Is the chairman picking the squad nowadays?

Hodgson has made it clear on several occasions that Parish and Freedman deal with incomings and outgoings.

Sky has produced a table as follows on Palace’s place in the division this season under Roy,
Goals 20th
Shots 20th
Shots on target 19th
Chances created 20th
Crosses 18th
If this is ,as some would say , Roy doing a great job I’d hate to see him doing a bad job.

Perhaps this is the reason why we are hurtling towards the Championship, unless we are able to secure a vital couple of wins very soon to arrest our slide.

One of them for sure. Would much rather Roy brought in players he wanted. Seems obvious doesn’t it.

Not panicking just bored with the negative defensive football with the ball played backwards and sideways in our own half often leading to a panic clearance or a chance for the opposition with a stray pass.
Sheff Utd were really entertaining today and play the sort of football that will encourage more support. Although we don't have the players to play their style of football I'd love to see us try playing some youngsters with more pace and try anything other than Roy's plan A or his Plan A or his Plan A it's boring and predictable

Also not happy about the silence from the board as to where the club is going regarding American sale, ground redevelopment and strengthening the ageing squad.

Moan over but regarding seasonal ticket renewal - the jury's out

"Nothing" = no clean sheet in 10, worst goal scoring record in the PL, haven't won since Boxing Day, paper-thin squad riddled with injuries and very little creativity, zero willingness to change the tactics or personnel to try to get us out of the slump.

I would panic if our performances matched our results and if I was a Norwich fan lol

The long ball game is much more awful to witness, the problem we have is trying to find the gaps through the middle in order to move the ball forward this is hindered hugely by many of our players being unable to control the ball especially when under pressure and capable squads now know that if they close us down this way Zaha is lost and ineffective, lots of teams themselves around us in the table have many weak links (players) in this regard too and are thankfully unable to exploit our misfortunes, it's just that in the last three games we have been that extra bit sloppy and have come up against squads who have definitely not been.
There are similar teams to us coming up to play and we have to just hope we make less mistakes in moving the ball forward and in opportunities in front of goal, we only need ten points thank the lord.

""I'm not sure how it's going to get off the ground to be honest when the manager has been getting more wrong than he has right during the last two months. I don't see how it can work when we have a manager and a chairman who have failed to identify the desperate need for a recognised striker and central defender in January. Finally I can't see how it get's off the ground when the plan itself looks like it will be starting with us as a L1 club. If anyone doubts we will be, then try and get a hold of today's 90 minutes, it was shocking, a performance that offers very little hope. ""

No this isn't about Roy I took this straight from the Charlton Intothevalley forum they are not happy with the new megabucks board who haven't spent any money and don't even own the ground.

Still as they say misery does love company.

Cheer up it could be worse.

This wasnt the case with any of our previous managers. Why is is suddenly the case the Hodgson has got no say in transfers. Seems hes got a ready made excuse for failure.

Yes man. Doesn’t want another or different job location for his final job and lower than a Prem wage.
